Workflow Automation with n8n: 10 Practical Examples

Slack alert on new order, auto email classification, daily database report — 10 automations you build with drag and drop.

What Is n8n?

n8n is an open-source workflow automation platform that lets you connect different applications and services without writing code. The difference between n8n and Zapier or Make: you host it on your own server, your data never passes through a third party, and you do not pay per operation.

n8n supports over 400 ready-made integrations — from databases and email to Slack, WhatsApp, and AI systems. Every workflow consists of nodes connected to each other, each node performing a specific task.

Why Self-Hosted n8n?
